Festival „Sounds of Surrender“

13.-18. October 2025

We are delighted to announce the third edition of the Sounds of Surrender Festival – a unique musical event that continues to grow in scale and acclaim with each passing year, gaining increasing recognition from both artists and audiences. What began as an intimate initiative, born from a passion for music and a desire to experience art more deeply, is now becoming one of the most inspiring cultural events on the musical map—not only of Lower Silesia but far beyond.

The festival is distinguished by its unique vision: blending various musical traditions—Polish, Persian, Argentinian, and others—in a spirit of unity, empathy, and solidarity. In times of increasing division, Sounds of Surrender serves as a reminder that listening to the music of other cultures can be a bridge—toward understanding, tolerance, and heightened sensitivity.
This year, the festival expands its scope even further—artistically and organizationally. It is not just a series of concerts; it is also a platform for workshops, artist talks, and discussions on topics that resonate with the present day. We are also deepening our collaboration with local communities and emerging artists, creating a space for development and the exchange of experiences.
We are proud to present performances by internationally renowned artists whose musical sensitivity and artistry transcend genres—from classical and sacred music, through jazz, to experimental sound forms.

This year’s lineup includes:

  • Marcin Wasilewski Trio – one of the most acclaimed jazz ensembles in the world
  • Omar Massa – the Argentine bandoneon master hailed by critics as the successor to the legendary Astor Piazzolla
  • Joolaee Trio – an international ensemble celebrated for their masterful fusion of Persian and European musical traditions
  • And a group of outstanding young artists from the global stage: Olga Zado, Piotr Szumieł, Miriam Helms Alien, Marianna Bednarska, and Jerzy Chwastyk, whose performances captivate audiences from Berlin to Buenos Aires.

Sounds of Surrender 2025 is more than just a festival—it is a shared experience of music as a language that unites us across all borders.

We invite you to resonate together.
