Between Romanticism and Impressionism Hanna Sosnowska and Jerzy Chwastyk present a programme composed of songs of German Romanticism and French-Spanish Impressionism. They will resound with selections from Schubert’s famous Schwanengesang or Winterreise cycles, combined with one of Manuel de Falla’s most emblematic works, Siete Canciones populares espagnoles.

Hanna Sosnowska, soloist of the Wrocław Opera, is a winner of many awards at international vocal competitions, as well as being nominated for Wrocław awards such as Radio Wrocław’s Emotions of Culture, or the 2018 Wrocław Music Award in the Classical Music category, of which she was the winner. “A master of breath and vocal line on the guitar” is how Pizzicato Magazine describes the playing of Polish musician Jerzy Chwastyk. The guitarist has won prizes at renowned international competitions.

The guitarist has won prizes at renowned international competitions. These include the Concurso Sigall in Chile and the Concurso Fernando Sor in Madrid. He also won second prize at the Andres Segovia Competition in Linares in 2016 and was awarded a distinction at the Certamen Andres Segovia in La Herradura.
