Composer and bandoneon player OMAR MASSA was born in Buenos Aires in 1981. Praised in Argentina as one of the most briliant bandoneonists of recent years and acclaimed as one of the leading composers on Tango Nuevo, Omar has participated in many projects with internationally renowned artists such as Placido Domingo, Jonas Kaufmann, Fatma Said, cellists Pablo Ferrandez and Bruno Delepelaire, and performed as soloist with orchestras like the Berlin Symphonic, Asturias Symphony Orchestra, Argentine National Symphony Orchestra, Romanian National Radio Symphony Orchestra. He performed in several important venues such as the Lincoln Center (New York), the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), the National Concert Hall (Dublin), the Colon Theatre (Buenos Aires), the George Enescu Festival (Bucharest) and the Berlin Philharmonie (Germany).Massa earned several nominations for prestigious German and international awards, as “Composer of the year” andb“Instrumentalist of the year”.

‘A Master of breathing and vocal line on the guitar’ – this is how the playing of the Polish musician JERZY CHWASTYK was described by the Pizzicato magazine. Jerzy Chwastyk’s extensive repertoire ranges from traditional and classical guitar music to innovative projects and duets with other artists. These include collaborations with the Neuköllner Oper, the actor Hanns Zischler, the bandoneonist Omar Massa and the cellists Susanne Szambelan and Maciej Kułakowski. This versatility is also evidenced by his two highly acclaimed solo CDs: La Joia (2017)
and Iberian Soundscapes (2020), “dichter.liebe” (Prospero Classical) with Hanns Zischler and Susanne Szambelan Prize winner of many renowned competitions (Concurso Sigall/ Chile, Concurso Fernando Sor/Madrid und Concurso Segovia in Linares and in La Herradura), Jerzy Chwastyk gives concerts as a soloist and chamber musician in the whole Europe. Jerzy Chwastyk is also an artistic director of Alma Concerts and “Sounds of Surrender” festival in Wrocław.

Born in 1996 in Gdańsk, MACIEJ KUŁAKOWSKI is a laureate of the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels and winner of the first prize and special prize at the 10th Witold Lutosławski International Cello Competition in Warsaw. As of 2019, he represents the London-based Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT). As a soloist, he has performed in many countries in Europe and the world, including with the National Philharmonic Orchestra in Warsaw, Sinfonietta Cracovia, Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra, Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra, Aukso: Chamber Orchestra of the City of Tychy, London Mozart Players, Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, Brussels Philharmony Orchestra, St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra or Calgary Symphony Orchestra. As a chamber musician, he has taken part in such festivals as the Piatigorsky Cello Festival in Los Angeles, the Beijing Cello Festival, the Krzysztof Penderecki Festival, the Witold Lutosławski Festival, the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Festival, the Moritzburg Festival, the Kronberg Festival, Krzyżowa Music, the Hohenstaufen Kammermusik Festival and the Munich Rising Stars.
